isnt there something in the rules about c3 rigs needing the chassis to be at or beyond axle centerline?

i remember alot of bitchin because a cambell style buggy wasnt allowed in c3.

Are Axial trucks pretty much the best geared trucks for most of the scale comp stuff ?

They really are more of a shaftey (Sportsman Class Comp Crawler) than a scaler. The axles make nice scale axles for Unimogs or similar but as someone said, they don't hold up to the abuse you would put them through in C3. I had one, it was fun but I broke it too much. Chubs and knuckles are junk and half shafts are not very strong.

Right!
talmond, Axial axles and trans are the way to go. You can use whatever chassis you like.
You might be able to get away with running a RC4WD Rock Rider chassis.
it's a lot bigger than the R1... but may end up a really short wheel base because of the rule. Here's my old basher on AR60's.


Here's a link to the rules, read them over a few times, it helps.
