Btw, I stopped by the Streamwood track today and they are going strong. They mostly run 2WD buggy, 2WD SC, sometimes 4wd SC. Something else that I forgot. most of their stuff is open.

After a REALLY long day yesterday, I just woke up and the last thing on my mind is getting into my car and driving to play R/C. I just want to take a chill day. Sorry guys. If anyone shows up that went racing yesterday, then.. You can call me a vagina.

Man.. I am wore the phuck out.

I had a great time and cannot wait till the 17th. I pray to god they only do two qualifiers. I got home about 8 and was sleeping by 9:30.... I told my wife when I got up this morning I felt like I had a hangover and had been parting all night. I'm not showing up at 9am next time. If I have to do that, I'm gonna throw some stuff on a table and you guys can come wake me up in the jeep when you get there LOL.

I started looking up some stuff for my buggy. I know how high that frigging bar is and I'll do better next time. Me and my buggy were not ready for yesterday, my 4wd SC well I did a little research and I'll be a good bit faster with it. (lets say parts have been ordered)

They'd be better off starting an hour earlier. I like the three qualifiers. It helps when your dialing in your car. I wish they'd have had a stadium truck race so I could have run two classes. I really can't afford a 3rd truck right now, but I see another SC10 in my future.

GripFab 1.7 narrow offset non-beadlock prototype wheel.
(Comparison with GearHead 1.55 ENK)

My wheel utilizes a high offset that (if my math is correct) should put my axial axle at a rc4wd k44 width. It should "hug" steering components to achieve this.
I'm sure there are many more bugs to work out. I still have to put the hex in and also a design. I'm thinking of putting the "hoopty pro" wheel design right onto this wheel, I think it would look good with the concave/dish wheel face.

It doesn't look like much right now but, I think it has potential to be a pretty cool 1.7 wheel if you're into the non-beadlock stuff I guess. 1.7 should help keep a 1.5 tire on there pretty well. I can't wait to see what it looks like with a design on the concave face and some rc4wd M2 scale bolts (non-functional). Also, I hope it actually achieves what I'm looking to do with them which is.. Shorter width axial axle to fit my C1 build better.

Comments? Suggestions? Ideas? Lets keep it in here for now.
