hmm, my M38 body, Wraith axles, my SS Montruks wheels and some Mil Spec tires might be cool.

Though I was thinking of a D90 based Class 3.

these were my first attempts at anything rc outside an rc10. back around 2003-4 or so. right after the xtm xfactor was released, whenever that was.

this was before i knew how to braze...

this was before there was axial axles...

i love the big jeeps. would very much like to do another one day, but with brazed 1/4" tubing.

My 2.2 CAC ez-locs are on the way! Man, that is one sexy wheel! but, I'm going to see if I can make different style centers for them just for fun. out of delrin, aluminum or stainless. I haven't seen a set apart yet but, I have a feeling that when I see them in person, it will be fairly simple to come up with something.
Speaking of machine work.. I have a lot of work to do coming up. Stainless bent wraith control arms.. more stainless wraith steering links.. and, you know how the rc4wd steelies have the spoked side and the plain side and you can use either side as the face? well, I want to take the plain side and make it look "different". any ideas? slots? holes? I was thinking like a pepper shaker style with a million holes or 3 long slots so it looks like an old school 3 spoke wheel.

Also.. I was one of the few to snatch up some wraith universals from amain when they had them in stock for a couple hours last week. I got them in today. Woo! I already ordered a set from RPP last month but, still waiting.

I need to start slowly building the wraith axles when I have time and budget.

Got some steelies today and swapped out the Mayhems on the Hilux, they tuck under much better and they are narrower than the Mayhems so I get better sidewall bulge.

I have everything running on the Mog but need to make longer motor wires, hopefully tomorrow, and try to get the interior installed tomorrow. Then just wheel wells to go. If I can get it all done, may run it this weekend but I will not have time to strip it down and paint the chassis by then.
