does anybody have a set of xr10 universals they want to sell? oh, and maybe a set of strc wheely king straight rear axle shafts? (long shot on that one...)

since wraith axles with the offset pumpkins wont stuff right under lemonade i'm going to try and use long beef tubes on scx axles.

just seeing if anybody local has a set before i make yet another tower order...

I just put the hand brothers CMS kit on my honcho and it came with the pan hard bar setup. I installed it and your chasis definately moves to one side a tad as it compresses. What is the benefit of pan hard linkage?

I run it on my Hilux and I ran it on a couple other trucks. I think for a class 1, it is ok as it gives you a nice solid front end and usually on Class1 you don't have quit the travel as the more dedicated crawlers do, at least that is my opinion.

more of a scale look, and less bump steer than you would have with a chassis mounted servo and a 4 link up front.

the phb travels at about the same arc as the drag link, thus minimizing bump steer since the axle 'sways' with the drag link and phb as it cycles.

I'm one of the few that runs a CMS and 4 link w/o the pan hard bar... personally, it works for me and I like it.

Our problem is we have never worked to get sanctioned. Something we should talk about if we want to do it.

That makes sense, I didn't completely understand bump steer until now. Before, when the suspension compressed it had the potential to push out on the drag bar, now it moves down in a matching arc. Thanks! I knew I hung out with you guys for a reason.

I'm going to have to start a build thread for my new C2 rig setup soon. I've been working on it since the last event and it's come a long way. I've have a lot of time in tube work so far and it's coming along very nicely.
I started with scx10 frame rails, cut them down.. full tube rear, custom shock mounts, interior roll cage.. and tonight I built functioning tube doors! It's cool.. they open & close on hinges so I can get to my inner workings easier as the cage is not removable.
I'm pretty happy with it so far, I might even be able to slap it together partially finished to compete this weekend.

I have no plans in using this QS right now. Call it a investment.

I don't see them being made again

Nah... 'Sides, I want to see what it actually does, as opposed to some web page that anyone can slap together.
