when i got the truck back all the vaccum and engine wiring was all over the place, probably an attempt to make it seem like the truck was worked on.

for all i know they might have swapped the belt, since the pulley that was bent (that tore the belt) had to have been bent while they were working on it. but its pretty obvious its an old waterpump.

if i was a shady **** i would have bent the waterpump pulley on purpose so i could argue that yes, while i didnt mean to bend that pulley it obviously shows i did the work.

Yeah.. Shitty. I noticed the shredded belt and figured we might as well change them all before the ride home.. Then we found the bent up pulley like they tried to pry it off.. So we got that repaired and the new belts on but, when we had it all apart I said "dude, that ain't no new water pump". For only being on there for 4months that shit look gnarly. Then we tore the timing cover off and the timing belt didn't look very new either. And, if they didn't take the pump off, they didn't take the belt off. F**kers. Sorry dude.. You can't trust those jackholes. We're gonna get the belt & pump and do it for real sometime soon.

that waterpump definitely was not 4 months old... i drive in the city and i keep that engine clean as hell. if anything that should have been the cleanest part on the engine, and it had at least 80k miles of crud on it. (last timing belt was changed at 80k miles, its now got 17x,xxx some miles)

sucks because i can do that shit myself... i just didnt want to, so i figured a dealership would be the best since i would get toyota tech and toyota parts.

i totally expected to pay alot more, but i didnt expect them to not do the work at all. i also paid for a trans flush, and who knows if they did that as well.

just a bummer day overall. was amped to get my bumpers finally cleaned up, but it would be cheaper and better to just cut those old bumpers off and get new ones. THEN rick sees the alternator belt...

at least i got a farm fresh tomato that day.

This weekend Susan was sick so we stayed in and ate chili and watched 9 episodes of Orange Is The New Black... it's pretty good.
It's a Netflix original show about a NYC debutant that goes to prison.

I was reading about that show yesterday. Ill give it a chance. Hemlock or whatever it is, is a horrible netflix original series. But house of cards is badass with kevin spacey.

i tried to get liz into the idea of at least watching orange is the new black, she refuses...

she also refused to watch breaking bad and american horror story when i first asked, then after a year or so she said she wanted to watch them...

i always find myself wanting to live a simple, solitary life so i dont have to deal with that kind of shit.

I've been watching Orange is the New Black this last week or so! Funny you guys just start talking about it. I have a few more episodes to finish. It's good! I like it!

Ha, kidding. I never could get into GTA. I got the first one and hated it. I need to sell all my XBOX games when I get home...since my console kicked the bucket. That's my last console. I've finally lost interest.
