Doesn't have to be either. If its not a truggy, i.e. tube instead of frame behind the tranny plate, then it would count as a tube bed. Flat bed would just be literally that a piece of metal, wood, etc. laid as a bed flat across the rear of the frame.

right.
Right now it's -3:
Bed : Not available to tubers.
• Tube bed OR flatbed: metal -3, plastic -1
• Bed mounted headache rack or roll bar: metal -2 plastic -1

But I think you can get another -3 points if you box it in:
Body
• Hard body: full -8, cab -4
• Drop bed : -3
• Complete custom built body: (metal or hard plastic, no lexan) full -4, Cab -2 (in addition to hard body points)
• Inner fender wells: -1 per pair

I'll need what help I can get!! I'll definitely do some to this. Going to raid my sons GI joe stuff and see what will work. I just think with the 2.2s it's not going to be just "right".

IMHO, rig performance and driving can overcome scale points.

I think the F'n Bastard can make it!

The very top looks like there's a root?
That could be trouble... make's for a good hill climb!

Unless my rig can drive itself, I'm in need of extra points.
I do have some killer batteries now so that always helps.

im pretty sure i jinxed myself into a crappy ttc score by being point nazi, so i wouldnt worry about scale points as much as making sure your rigs are watertight and ready to be abused.

we'll need people on the hill to spot progress... maybe they should wear catchers mitts!

Well..... Since we are going to a much more official style on this trip- will you allow my 1.55 truck in the 1.9s? The tire diameter is the same as 1.9 tires. I think I want to run 2 trucks in this ttc event. If my rc4wd yota breaks then o well I'll deal with it. Just my trucks are like my kids. My scx10 is on 1.9s at the moment. I have a set of 1.9 proline swamper tsls FINALLY but no more damn 1.9 bead locks.

That's totally legal, it's no larger than x.x

Seriously guys, don't worry that your truck won't pass inspection, it will.

Trey, Z, bh, do you think it's big enough for drivers to loose it before hitting that root?
I think we'd end up with a bunch of ties if not.

tires are too big!

bring it though!
I know I'm taking a few shots at that hill with my foff!

what are you guys bringing besides scalers?
I'll have the Slash, foff and the micro.
I'm leaving the vmx450 at home, it should be much safer on the camp grounds!

We we can do some short course laps behind the bar, that yard is totally big enough and smooth enough to set up "cones"!
