Sept. 22nd - Revenge of the Cliffs! TTC & Camping

ok, We're heading to the Cliffs for another camping trip Saturday, September 22nd.
This trip will be a TTC: 1.9 and 2.2 Classes

Winners will receive gift certificates for 10% off any size Pit Bull Tire!

As of now, the itinerary is:
9am - meet at Cliffs parking lot.
Have hours of scale fun!
5pm - Head to campsite

We/I'll set up a tank trap down by the river in the mud somewhere.
Others can bash around or look for good Mud Pit spots.
Then, after the Tank Trap we can caravan up the trails to the rock pile, lay out a course and run the Rubicon and Sled Pull.

Zero said they found a great hill for the Hill Climb.

Events are:
Tank Trap
Mud Pit (if conditions are right)
Rubicon
Sled Pull
Hill Climb

Then, head to Papa Murphs Tavern & Campground when park closes at 5.
(Papa Murphs is about 19 miles from The Cliffs... there are closer campsites but I doubt any as fun!)
Pitch tents
Grill dinner
Shoot pool
Sleep (Zero, no foul mouthed runaways... ok!)
Pack up and ship out.
Breakfast at the little hotel diner place in town, man that was good.
and
End the trip with a Sunday morning bash session back at the Cliffs!

You guys camping Friday night, or Saturday night? I got a 3 hr drive up and was thinking about spending fri night so I don't have to get up at 5 am.

I'm driving up Sat morning. It's pretty cheap to camp there... You can crash at my place Friday night if you want.
It's about 2hrs for me to drive there.

I might have 3-4 other guys interested in going up with me but they only have summits. I'll probably bring my summit as well. Im guessing the summits are a tad too big for the mini ttc but there should be plenty of fun and challenging terrain to stay occupied if I remember right? I'll have to waterproof it for sure.

i'll probably stay in a hotel again or maybe a cabin, i just like a bed and shower...

might not bring the 1:1 either. just too much work unless i can get that friday off and prep everything. also kinda scared of flopping it again without anybody being there to pull me back over before i lose all my fluids. (in the zuk...)

i will definitely bring my slash 4x4.

Did they have electricity at the campground?? I am thinking of camping over hotel and if I can use a 50 or 100ft ext cord and get electricity it would be great.
--edit-- called the campground and no electric available, fees are $8 per night per person.

that's a bad ass truggy man.


I think we should 1.9 & 2.2... no C1, C2 or C3.

And you can run multiple trucks in each class (if you have a C1 and C2 you can run both in the 1.9 Class) if we have time.
