well i was getting it ready to try to shoot some video on 6s and i ran into some problems. maybe these revo shafts need a little more engagement but so far they aint cutting it for me. http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...d/IMAG0126.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...IMAG0165-1.jpg |
the front had plenty of engagement but the pin wouldn't stay in the yolk http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...IMAG0112-1.jpg |
on a positive note, it was a freekin blast to raise hell with this thing in the front yard! some more pics. http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...IMAG0173-1.jpg http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...IMAG0174-1.jpg |
so rick, i guess i will wait till the new out puts are available and that should "give me the extra length i need" lol that's what she said. |

LOL....... Well...... 6S is a lot of power I should have the new outputs the end of this week (I hope) cuz I really want to see this thing SCREAM :twisted::twisted: Looks like you had fun for a minute "thumbsup" Sorry........ Rick |
Yeah its a lot of fun, and stupid fast! Looking forward to getting this thing hauling the mail! Poll |
Wow Gabe, never seen a Revo shaft look like that before:shock: Is that motor/trany at an angle or is it the pic? Try those RC-Monster Revo yokes. Bet they hold up. Can't wait for the video"thumbsup" |
yes sir"thumbsup", it is angled a little. |
wow man. lots of power. that thing might just need a bit more engagement on the shafts. i had some issues with these shafts on my SC truck. they hold up fine for crawling speeds, but as soon as the things get a 1/8 power of full speed they can melt pretty quick. i converted mine to steel buggy cvd's for drive shafts. holds up fine now. hows the chassis holdin up?! |
