| Re: starting another 1/6th Willys I have the .STL files for the grill and associated pieces, and I have the mold (somewhere) for making resin copies of the grill. I've just have zero ambition to put anymore time into the project, since I don't currently have the ability to offer a complete package.

This is as far as I got with the project. I was able to use my headlight mold and cast a perfect set, but it took the help of an artist friend that does that sort of work for a living. She had a small autoclave plus a commercial grade clear resin that costs around $250 per pint. I'm not willing to make that sort of commitment for equipment. Here's a pic with the lenses that I cast on my own. |

Damn I'm a dumba** sometimes.... I realized that I've been posting a few updates to the Orange Jerp in the wrong build thread... Sorry for the confusion, I'm moving back to the orange Jerp build thread, I've been tinkering a bit with it. |
