Was able to get a little trail time with the Raptor at Rockwood trails.
I was pushing the truck hard and cheap rc4wd 35T didn`t like being abused all day on 3 cell. It smoked Other wise truck works great.

I was surprised i got up here with rocks being so damp

Susp works well

Tight fit for 1/6

I do like how tires fit right into wheel wells

Peek~A~Boo

It was a fun day,

Nice job on the truck, it's nice to see I'm not the only one (trying) to run one.

This has fast become on of my more fun truck to use.
Size took a little getting use to but it works well.
I did go a bit bigger on tires and i'm now running 1.9 iroks that i feel look better on it.

On side note i found out this truck jumps well with suspension setup i have.
Might want to add limiter straps

Do you have some more pictures under the cab, how it is mounted and if you added cross sections between the metal rails/profiles.

The Raptor has been a big hit on my local trails.

I do switch the body's on it, I have 2 silver ones and the 1 red one.

The main thing i built it for was to pull trailer and it works great.

Every one was surprised how well it pulled in mud and up hills at the trails.

Water dont hurt it

It has wheel speed to climb almost anything.

It can take a hard landing

What electronics do you have in it. And doesnt it overheat? Isnt it very heavy? Looks great. Is this still the aluminium profile chassis wich you have painted black?

The wheels/tires look kinda small for that body.

1.9's ?

A taller, larger tire/wheel combo would fill in/around the fender arch(s)
somewhat better IMO.

Tho' possibly more difficult to fit with those chains adorned.

I use 2.2 wheels and 5.80" tires on my 1/6 TJ/Wraith build
I think they fill in and look better in the wheel wells.
Not to mention... offer more ground clearance.

Might be too tall or big for your body's wheel wells...
But I'd think a 5.5" tires on 2.2's would fit and look purdy good.

But it's yer call... I'm just an observer

Just wondering, what did you do for your driveshafts? I assume you used a wraith driveshaft for the front. What for the rear?

Looks good btw!
