Default Starwood Motors Bandit inspired build

This is another build that I have been working on aside the Nomad build. This rig is based off an SCX10 ii. Pictured below is the inspiration and the starting point of the build. The reason for me posting in the Large Scale builds is because it will be using a 1 off set of 3.0 beadlock wheels that were made by a former member of the forums "createacrawlwer". Troy has machined some great wheels during his time here on the forums and I am glad to be an owner of a few sets that he offered. This one he just made for the heck of it and offered it Tom me for purchase, as you can see I didnt hesitate and decided to hold on to them for a few years until I built something to put them on. Glad I never decided to sell them.

Started bulding the bed from styrene and decided that this one will need some fenders. I had removed the fenders a while back because this build was going in a totally different direction before I settled on this idea.

Next was getting the bed attached to the body and extending the chassis rails. This one is a bit long but I like the wheelbase and position of the rear wheels compared to the new Gladiator. I guess that is why I went the route of the Bandit.

After a bunch of priming and sanding this is where it sits. Thinking of some ideas at the moment that I haven't pulled the trigger on. Don't want to do too much to it because it may lose its clean look. Let me know what you guys think.

Last photo for now, just a close up of the wheels outfitted with some scale hardware from @lockeduprc. The wheels are wrapped with some Milestar Patagonia tires that I picked up from @RC4WD. Will update this thread as I progress with the build. Thanks for looking...

Did a little bit of work to the rig, been thinking about this hood for a bit and decided to put it on. Didn't want to just place it, wanted it to look molded into the existing hood so I got to work....

Sorry for the lack of updates, been a long week with work and all. Things are starting to open up and I don't agree with it but we will see what happens.

Onto the uodates, it did take a bit of sanding but not too bad. The shaping came out good, main thing is that I got rid of the transition area and now it looks a little more molded. May hit it with some putty before any color is applied.

Also got started on some sliders. Decided to go with solid 3/16" square rod and shape the profiles that i was looking for. These will be beefy and they do have some weight to them. Just wanted to keep them simple, may even add a little body armor along the rockers.
