12 pounds. Thats great compared to my rig, it's 18 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!

here are the close up pics. it took a long time to figure this out, getting all the links the right length. and there is almost no bump steer
cant even tell its there

the bell crank- made from 3/8" fuel line and 1/2"x1/16" flat steel



i also need some help with a design for the panels. any ideas?

thanks, since we got all that rain my spot is a mess so probably either Wednesday or Thursday. i might screw around with it today in the yard but thats it.

thanks, I'm looking at getting a set of shocks off the genisis. I'm 99% sure they are bigger than the maxxs

Nice, I like the bellcrank steering! i was thinking somthing like that for supersteer but did not want any bumpsteer...

thanks wheelchair. i didn't get to take it out today though it was still too wet out. im going catfishing tomorrow so ill bring it with me(ill make sure not to pull a wheelchair moment though j/k)

the blue marking on its back will be green though

im also considering doing a grille as well heres what it looks like

lol, thanks. i have been driving the piss out of this thing, and i havent had any major issues(just a couple steering fixes), i was hoping to get out with the NERCC guys this weekend but i couldnt go:-(

I was going to try a similar steering setup on my twin. What did you have to do to eliminate the bump steer? Is it as simple as lining up the pivot points of the drag link and the suspension links or is it more complex than that?

I guess there is always trial and error.

Nice build up. I am very impressed.

ya that is what i read. i looked around on google and that was the way they said to set it up. as long as the drag link pivots are located at the same points as the links , and it is parallel to the links you shouldn't have any bump steer.

i still do have some in the rear but its very slight. and as for the front with the way the servo is mounted, when you steer if sometimes forces the axle to sway but that is minimal as well.

Hey man was reading your project today and was wonder what shock mounts were you using on the chassis mounts? they look cool and i need something good and strong for my tuber.

they are the stock tlt cantilever bushings, i just shortened them down some on the lathe
