Nice Vette block there!

Nice street runner there as well. I have some crazy tendencies but laying on a board with wheels and flying down a hill at 60 mph is a bit much for me. Good job on how well you did with it back then.

Keep this build going, and the pics coming.

Yes the Marlin crawler round up is at Rubicon , you must register to join the group, it's over 200 Toyotas mostly.

EDIT : Auguts 31, I thought my welder sucked. Weld Joints were a bit crappy until I got new .023 Wire with .025 tip. all this Tube welding is with .025 Licoln wire Yuke



Did some MIG welding this weekend, Go easy , This is MY First Chassis attempt ! :)

3-I think that weld pic I forgot to hook direct Ground
4+ almost done

NEXT UP are the Custom Losi , aftershock, ofna jammin 1/8 buggy AXLES , with
batteries -Size C 4500 , 2 cells each side of axles

Wish I had Lipo, but can't afford right now

Any tips on battery placement welcome Because this takes away from the Scale LOOK

Those WW drivers sure do find homes in a lot of rigs, lol. Looking good there. Tig huh. This is gonna be a super strong chassis!

it's MIG , there is no rod there, big sparks, gun tips are very different.


the tube is thick .035

Update and Pics :-P
Titanium Nitride gears came in
These have a little curve to them but not as much as the Helical cut gears that are out there. I just could not any of those to fit my carrier.
13/43 gear set
2nd axle made and Axle truss. 22 gauge steel

Axle tubes are Stainless
.062 and .055 wall Three piece tubes

Only 17 Days LEFT to Finish :shock::!:

Garage been up to 90* But I got more work on the axles

Steering angle around 40*

Kyosho rod ends
HPI 6.8 balls
Olander supply for Hex head screws
7/16 and 3/8 REAL Delrin Link Rods
