The LEDs are 3mm LEDs made by Kingsbright. I order all my electronic components from Mouser.com
The Whites are 3mm 5K MCD LEDs and you have to be careful with them as you'll see yellow spots for about 10 minutes if you look directly at them while on, they are really bright.

These were $0.38 a piece for qty 10. The rest were standard 3mm LEDs from mouser as well.
These do a great job of illuminating everything in front of the crawler, you can actually crawl in complete darkness pretty effectively with them.
