Really thanks for all the comments guy, they are really what keeps me going!

Update: Took it to Central Park yesterday!

The aftermath. Some minor paint chips and very dirty.

you could add some "po'boy" paint repair over those chips to make it look more authentic

Thanks for the comments guys!

Update: Since I got the front end cut up earlier, so I need something to cover up the gap. Modified a radiator from the LC80 and will mount it right under the grill.

Shout out to little crawler from Scale4x4 for the hard top.

Good iSh Dr. K, keep the projects coming!!!
I'm a "NOOB" when it comes to crawling/scaling but, Imma Toyota guy all the way!!! And this build is f****n AWESOME!!!
After going through this thread, I'm convinced to get a Micro and "try" a build like this... probably not as detailed though (don't have the "skillz")

Your Yota still continues to impress me again to no ends!

Just gotta wait for that paint chip on that fender to grow bit bigger then ill probably see you adding "bondo" work to make it more realistic

keep up the good work as always!

Looks like 1/8" styrene to me. He said it somewhere in the part of the thread he was building bumpers and sliders.

Dr. K, looks damn good! Shiny and new wouldn't do this project justice, 1st Gen (4x) needs to look used.

Damn that thing is lookin good. I have to say, looking at a lot of the builds on here inspires me. I can't wait until I am done with my rig to post up as well.

Thanks ChiefWigman! Either I will do some paint touch ups, or just let it "rust".

Thanks yusk8ing! The bumpers and rock sliders are made out of thin styrene tube with metal rod inside.

I'm not exactly sure what size they are, the width is about 1.588mm wide.

Thanks Midlife Crisis! It's not that shiny, give it some times and those trail marks will shows.

Thanks Crawl Wonder! Tons of inspirations on here, post up some pics of your rig and let see what you got!

Update: More details added, Warn winch, F/R tow hooks, radiator, canopy top mounted.

Dirty windshield.

Outdoor run, no video at the moment, sorry.

Nope, didn't waterproof it.

Update: JR Sport Hi-Speed sub micro servo!

Pic below shows the stock JR servo on left and modified LMC servo.

Had to take almost the whole truck apart just to swap a servo.

With the new servo installed, much smaller!

Still got the massive flex for its scale.

Also did some weathering on the steering link.

Update: Took it to Central Park again, will post up the video of it tomorrow, unfortunately the camera battery die out, so I didn't get that much footage of it crawling.
