The axles tubes are tripel walled & every piece is a tight fit no smiley faces here I just wish my t-case was as strong as the axles...I think I got a fix for it check out the pics.

Thanks Dan!
3s is king I highly recommend it! The mrc drive lines are bullet proof no problems at all.....

I had a problem with my t-case input shaft rounding out the D shape in the gear, so I got lucky & had the part needed for the sumo t-case mod..

For this mod you will need:

1 12t 48p losi pinion / part# LOS4112
Dremel, drill & file or a lathe
1/8 music wire
5/16 dill bit or step bit

The pics will tell the story

Old shaft on the bottom, new one is solid

Gear mesh is perfect even though the stock sumo gear is a 13t

First shot didn't have the pinion depth set right so I killed the center gear in under 10 seconds..

This is when the idea & mini lathe kicked in, sunk the pinion down & it was good to go!

I will test it out over the next few days & report back as to if it held up to the parts snap'n power of the Chev.

How did you clock the knuckles, and how was the T-case mod completed?
Details please, I have two Sumo's and a lathe...

Thanks MK, if you are going to run mad powa this is a must do on the sumo case

@KnutKase

Clock'n the C's are easy, grind down the 4 locater nubs on the case & redrill the holes when you got your knuckle clocked to where you want it.

On the case you just have to drill the back out to 5/16 so the pinion will fit...Take the 1/8 rod & file 2 flat spots, one on each end for the grub screws....I had to turn the blank space on the gear down some to get it to fit in the hole without hitting the center case screws...Then it was just a matter of getting the pinion set to the right depth & tightening down the grubs
