Default charging with stock charger pack

Okay, if I wire two batteries in parallel, it'll have twice the capacity but still be 4.8V. If I'm using the stock battery pack, will that still charge properly off the charger pack? Or if I get the wall charger, will that work too?

It should work. I charged the 220mah batteries that came in the micro sct/rally on the quick charger with no problem.

yes mate it will, i made a custom pack exactlly how you said, positve to positve negative to negative and had drained both batterys on the car! tested the voltage, wired the two together charged tested the voltage and then split the wiring re tested the individual packs and they had been charged to the same voltage, i actually did this a couple of times just to check each batterys run times were similar as well! the feild charger worked brilliantly, however did take twice the time to charge which is obvious any way lol!

Thanks for the help, guys. I wired my two packs together tonight and charged 'em up. Charge time was normal for 1 pack...but runtime was doubled. Awesome!! I wish I could have the equivalent of three or four packs in the same space as one...

Default charging with stock charger pack

So basically all I need to do is combine the positive and negative leads and use one connector and I can charge the two combined packs together using the included charger or the peak charger I bought?

But when using an adapter cable they would need to be separated and charged separately, right?

Black to black and red to red. I cut the connector off both batteries and then soldered both black wires to the black on the connector and both red to the red. Hook it up to the charger and they both charge as one double pack.

Cool, I have an idea to make more room in my trekker for a bigger pack. I don't like having the packs sitting in the suspension.
