Default micro crawler course build

im building a micro crawler course, starting with an old tree stump and if weather permits, will start digging out around it this saturday. will put down small gravel as base the move up to larger rocks and sand stone through out. have marker off a 10ft by 10ft area to begin with, but may go larger if needed. tree roots are above ground so some tunneling may be poss. any ideas or criticising is welcome. ( i have thick skin ) and yes i am new to this as of christmas. lincoln log and lego tracks are getting old, and i can't wait to get out side. wanting to buy star, just need to know that this is a good place for info. can donate $20 with no prob, will decide with other member feedback.

nature stumps take for ever to rot out even then you would have to beat on it to take it out. that being said pictures are best to get a better picture of things lol

fraze is correct, if your stump is any kinda solid, it'll be there for YEARS. don't know what would be the best out of what you listed to seal it. id personally use creasode like they use on lite poles. but i rekin its pretty hard to get nowadays.

Undercoating is quick and dirty and gives your micro tires something to grip to. Wood has NO grip whatsoever.

I wouldn't worry about sealing or preserving a stump in a crawling coarse. Its not like you are going to build it once and be done with it. You will change it up the more into it you get.
