Default Comp style Micro

I built this truck basically using parts I had lying around the house. Only thing I bought was a second set of stock tires and wheels.

Upgrades

-Shorter shocks from a Losi Micro DT/ paired with parts from the stock shocks to make the right length etc.
-Aluminum bent tube rear links. About 1/32" longer than stock
-bigger pinion that comes with the truck
-reversed trans so the motor is in front
-clocked the front axle back and lowered the front links on the axle 1/16th" or so
-decased/wrapped elecs/removed any unnecessary material from the chassis
-lightened chassis
-High clearance steering setup using stock parts
-shaved axles
-narrowed skid by about 1/8th" per side
-weighted fronts. depending on how steep you wanna climb..it definatly does better with a half to three quarters ounce of lead wrapped around the wheel and inbetween the wheel and knuckle. Although Im testing with bone stock tires and wheels with full foams and no weight. it does 'very' well on flatter terrain
-highly clapped stock tires and a new set of stock tires
-foam removed
-hitec steering servo
-2s lipo 150mah
-lightened and lowered body enough so the shocks poke out the top now
-Dx3r

The biggest improvements were getting the thing lowered so it stanced out like a 2.2 rig. Then I would say the steering and adding weight. With all these basically free mods this truck will pull climbs that look like scaled down versions of wicked 2.2 terrain. It is amazing how smooth they can be with a little work

I can get better pics up in the daylight.
