1/12 scale Yamaha Rhino side-by-side

I just bought a losi micro crawler and looking at a few options of body's/builds I can go with. I have a golf cart body already but not sure it's going to fit well.

I am now wondering if this new ray 1/12 scale Rhino side-by-side body will work.


Please look at the link below and give me some input on this. I think this body could make a sweet micro scaler rig.

It look pretty cool but it has a dicast body so its going to be heavy. Really shouldnt be that difficult to make it RC with the micro crawler parts, very interesting............

probably, but, you will likely need to modify links. and if you want a center mounted transmission you may need to cut up the interior.
Word of wise on this matter from experience, metal body's at this scale are significantly worse than others. a little up top means a lot and a lot op tops means everything. it will probably not crawl nearly as well as you think.

Thanks for the input. What makes you guys think its metal? All of their other toys like the quads are plastic.


I wish I could find the length,wheelbase and such on this one. I would guess it would be slightly bigger than the new ray quads.

That's too bad, thought it was plastic (lighter) and not metal.
Well that eliminates one option.


Will a metal 1/25 scale truck model body be too heavy for the crawler, and cause over heating?
