Default Trekker stock rims with Miclaws tires? How to properly fit?

Total crawler noob question here.

Which is the best way to mount the Miclaw tires to the stock trekker rims?

Keep or remove the foam?

I plan on on adding bbs for weight as well.

Should I take off the beadlocks?

Reason I ask is because the Miclaws tires don't seem to fit in bead channel on rims?

The bead of tire wants to ride on axel of rim. Is this normal?
Should I trim some of the bead off a bit so it doesn't hit rim axel and I don't cause tire to deform?

Need some help here please.

Thanks

Ps

Merry xmas;. Hope everyone got what they wanted.

it should just fit in the bead like the losi tires do.

dont worry about the one on the right... was a bottle cap... lol

correct.

with the losi tires, theyre too thin, so need to be glued. the Miclaws are thicker, so the beadlock then actually works.

what i did with mine was back of the beadlock screws a couple turns each and then fit the Miclaw as normal, then tighten the beadlock screws back up. done.

just make sure that theres no losi tire left in the bead after removing them.

miclaws dont come with foams as you probably know, i made custom foams for mine coz my trucks are usually heavy. but if your truck is light, then leave the foams out, the tires will conform better.

if its a bit heavier, put the losi foams in. it will help but not fill the tire right out.

how concerned with wobble should I be? I have tried but can't get micalws to not wobble when on truck.

I've tried readjusteing bead but no luck

im not sure about wobble. ive not had that experience. all i can say, is my miclaws are/were mounted on narrowed QLO rims. the only time i had them on the Losi rims was for photos. i had RC4wd rock crushers on my Losi rims, and that was a few years ago now. but no wobble.

are you sure its not just the tire is warped/stretched? i noticed when sitting it would very easily get a flat spot on the tire.

It could be warped tires

they didn't come in the best packaging and looked somewhat stretched.

for example, if you follow the bead all the way around, some spots are tight and others aren't

BUT

the bead is all the way in the channel.

Stock tires dont wobble

they are new rims however, so

they would be bad, but, i doubt it

yea, id say its probably just the tires. one thing i will say, is when i cut my foams, i know i didnt cut them exactly square, so that caused a wobble. but i knew it was the foams. hopefully it comes good for you.

thanks

I tried it without the foams and still a wobble.

I think the tires are just misshapen and warped all to hell

I'll give it another go tomorrow

Hopefully I won't need to order new tires and or rims

I see the alum bead lock rims are quite pricey

edit

seems all for tires are wobbling

so I removed tires and each axle has a bit of wobble, but, it has done that since day one.

So, I called HH and they are sending me new parts; hopefully this will fix the issue.

I may look into some beadlock alum rims as well even though they're pricy :(
