Default The Miclaws came in today!

These suckers are indeed big, soft and sticky. Don't look like they will fit, glued to the factory Losi rims because of their big bead though. Guess I'll get to try them when the DDT beadlocks get here.

Definitely worth the wait for the Danally rims, the Miclaws fit like a glove,, it's almost like they were made for them.

They are a TIGHT FIT !!!

On my MCT2 rims it has to be stretched on. Start with one side, stretch it into the bead slot, and tighten down the ring. It helps to put a big socket under the other side to raise the rim and tire off the table while u seat the first side into the groove.

Trust me...not easy! Be patient. So far everyone that has bought them has figured it out with very little complaints.

If you need help let me know. I can post a video if I need to.

Was able to 'dry' mount the Miclaws onto some Losi factory rims that I did the Danally widening mod on. Put a foam from the stock McRC in the tire and tucked the beads into the space where you would add wheel weight. The huge sticky beads hold the tires very securely in place. I can't spin them, by hand, on the rim! Then put a stock b/l ring on the outside for cosmetics and gave 'em a test run.

Tires are holding to the rim fine after 1 pack on the Papasan chair/pillows. Did notice that everything (motor, servo, speed control, worms) gets warmer than usual when turning these big tires.

Admin, Ludwig is a spammer. In his three posts he seams to always has the right words, never any pictures, and a random link to his hobby shop.

If he's not a spammer, he's a poser!

How do you report someone?

Just broke the factory output arm on the servo saver on the McRC. Time to put a HS-65MG on this one like I did on the Trekker. Been procrastinating while enjoying the Miclaws. Gonna check and grease the worm while it's down. Already did the rear axle. Are there any maintenance issues with the micro worms? Should I get spares? Thanks.

I think it's time the word filter prohibits that website from appearing on this site ever again!
