Looking good Mike, not only nice to see something other than a 1/24 body but someone jumping head first into working with brass! Good job my friend.

Sweet Mutt!

Looks right at home atop the baby boggers.

The cage looks excellant. Sometimes less is more. It's easy to make a cage that looks cluttered.

Thanks for the replys guys, all i can say is brass is addicting!!! right now it's sitting at 5 1/4", I finished the rear bumper, and did some rock guards, I have a few more things i need to do, like clean up my nast solder joints.lol. but it is getting easier since i started using my iron instead of the pen torch. anyway here is some more mock up pics.

Thanks for looking, comments and suggestions always welcome.

Another little update, finished the rock sliders and reinforced them a bit, i think my next step is going to be grinding and trying to clean up my sloppy solder joints, it ain't pretty but it will hold

You should it's allot of fun, the hardest part is figuring out how to hold things together while soldering, and using the tip MG gave of using solder in the center of the tube for clean bends

Little update:

Made the links, mounted the motor, and lengthen the drive shafts. I'm going to make a stinger bumper still and do the final mock up before i tear it all apart for paint and finishing touches. I'm still debating on the color, should i leave it army green or some other color, open for suggestions.

Thanks for looking
