So now I have wheels and tires for this thing, and no axles! I guess pretty soon I'll have to get a Trekker.
Are those the standard MT's (width and offset) from Jim? They're amazing!

Yep those are Fungi's MT's with the fake beadlock with the .250" offset. They fit perfectly!

Got any front or front-corner shots with the new wheels?

The .250" offsets are almost the same as a Danally wheel, as you can see. Here is a front end shot. It will show you a good comparison. On the left is the fungi wheel, and on the right is the Danally wheel. They are both great wheels, depending on what you are looking for.

I actually already got one by the time I saw this, just couldn't help myself! Besides, now I have a tx and esc also. Here's the unsuspecting victim. Poor thing doesn't know what's in store for her.

Before I start some more assembly on this thing, I though I would show you a close up of the 3-link for the rear. The part that attaches to the rear axle pivots on a screw which allows for some extreme articulation!

So I dropped a motor and transmission in this thing. I had a Danally 60t stroker that I had planned on using for a different project, but I think it will go in this thing now. I'll get another motor from Dan when I get around to it. I'll spend the rest of the night making links to get this thing to roller status.

For lower links I'm using 2-56 threaded rod and mini t rod ends, then covering them with heat shrink tube. Here's the front links to show you.

Ok, now just add some axles, and throw it all together. And just like that, I have a roller! Now all she needs is a cab.

I got Ol' Blue all tore apart. Now it's time to try recreating things. I realize now there's a lot of time going to be spent trying to figure out just exactly how I did things, and how I can improve on them.

I decided to put the bed on the new Toyota so that I could build it side by side with Ol' Blue. That way I can match up parts on both trucks as I build it up.

Alright, it's been a long time, but I'm back! I've moved, which caused me to put everything away for awhile. But now I've got my bench set up, and I'm starting back at it! I've totally missed building.

Anyway, as for this build, it's taken a slight turn. When I pulled everything out to see what I had, and where i was at with my projects, inspiration struck. Unfortunately it stole the frame from this truck. But I did have another frame I had bought awhile back that seems like it will work rather nicely! The new frame will also make it a 4 link front suspension. It should be nicer than leafs with the 3 link in the rear. As for the trailer, well, I'll just have to make a frame for it. And the surfboard rack that I loved, got stepped on. Oh well.

Here's a pic of the new frame for you:

I need a stock skid plate/transmission crossmember. For some reason I can't find a Losi, or a Hot Racing one. Does anyone have any extra ones layin' around? If you do, send me a PM!
