| Help with ESC and battery locations...
Being that the body work that I was doing is mostly done for now, I need to find a good location to mount the ESC and the battery. Here some pics to show what I'm working with. Let me know what you would do... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm thinking run the battery in the rear tray, and mount the ESC onto a tray in the middle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The spots you are working with are about the only good choices. Word of warning...bare aluminum plates can cause crazy interference in the electronics. Make sure to plastic dip it or use plastic. Sometimes it's just the wiring laying on it that can make things glitch. Good luck and nice build!

Thank you I'm really happy with how it came out. It needs one if your motors for sure! Maybe a 90t or 100t. Thanks for the tips about the aluminum. I ended up using the stock ESC mount. I cut the little support off the bottom side , and trimmed it down in size a bit. The battery is just sitting in the tray for now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If you flip the motor around you could have more room for the ESC to fit down in the frame. I've also seen guys use the battery tray for the ESC to rest in. Also if you flip your motor you'll shift the weight forward on your rig, ultimately helping a little with keeping the front end down while crawling. Yes you will run backwards, but just flip the TH switch on top of your controller, and your good. I also once made a tray to hold the ESC on top of the front frame rails so that it was hidden under the hood of the model kit I was using. Those are just my suggestions, but keep up the good work. I really dig this rig! Scouts are just cool!
