|  the DmG's / the NAT OK , i went on the RCC Nat's journey with the KCRC guys & Harley076 he just got his Losi mini crawler & i had to look at him goofing around with the thing all the way back to KC. drove me "NUTS" !! so when he gave me the opportunity to tear it apart, i jumped at the chance ,especially his new little baby  this just the first attempt at a mini chassis & wanted to make as bolt on as i could. haven't decide if i like the design yet !! all 3/16" alum rod & plate , if i was to ever to ship one of these chassis , the shipping box will be heaver than the chassis.  "89 grams, total chassis weight"  not real happy with the rear shock location , but haven even ran it yet , well see.  now all Harley076 has to do is - "get it BACK from me"  going to throw some of my radio gear in it and toucher it "BAD"  just kidding 076 - i love messing with HIM.  haven't even told him about having it finished yet  lets see how long it takes him to find this thread !!! some poser shots   thanks zORLAc |

| NAT/UP-date cool , thanks everyone for all the good comment's got it running & out on the secret DmG test grounds today. good & "scratched" up ,looks like a crawler now!  like expected - the rear shock mounting is a little off & the whole rig sets kind-a high , seemed somewhat tippy could be fixed two ways #1 move the shocks to the lower link mounts ? #2 make the next chassis with a little higher shock mounting area ? ran all day with a 7.2 1320 lipo & never got soft on power i wore out be for it did. wanted to get the battery off the upper links & move it more up front. made a servo/battery mount for it & seems to work a lot better. switched over to a 7.2 700mah battery , this should give it more than enough run time.  got all the radio gear & mamba25 tucked away nice  . ill get back out tomorrow & see how it works now. getting a lot of interest in this chassis & if there enough in it , ill get the guys from DNA to cut me some side plates & build some up for everyone. but first i want to run a few more designs ideas & get everyones input on this one first !! before i settle on a final design & start offering them to everyone. the DmG , building chassis the way U want !! thanks zORLAc |

Yes move the shock mounts up a little and angle the shock a bit to minimize some travel. Then let us know when your taking orders. I would like one. Also I don't know what the test crawler setup your using is like but the stock setup, without wheel weights feels very top heavy if your use to a nicely setup 2.2. Your tuber could have been performing better than you think if all the other losi parts were unmodified and without weights in the wheels. Good luck and keep up the good work man. Let us know. |

Jerry for the sake of testing you can move the shocks down to the lower link mounts. Edit, saw you already suggested that. Pay no attention to the asshole behind the keyboard..... |
