Got mine today, nice stuff. Already swapped everything from the GC3, just need to mount the electronics. Thanks for coming out with such a high quality chassis.
No binding at all, it would just flop around... until I put on my crappy shocks. Was cool to put something together that didn't require filing here, sanding there, this link inside the chassis, this link outside the chassis, just to get it to flex w/o binding.
How do you like the Losi shocks? Did you do something different to the top?

Shell, what shocks are you using? I am running the Aluminum Losi shocks (with the new style cartridges) and they flex nicely with minimal leakage...

I think I'm running the Late Model shocks, they came on it when I bought it used. The MRC shocks are what I'm considering, or the DTX. Did you have to cut the loop off the cap and install a rod end to get rid of the binding?

Nope. I just popped a MRC ball into that end. It flexes nicely....

I had more binding from my DTX shocks than the Losi....

that is very good to hear!

i like the losi's. i do limit them considerably but they seem to work as well as any other shock.

I run the Lunsford mini links. Stock rod ends at the axles and the short Traxxas rod ends at the chassis. I bent the rear for clearance and have all lowers outboarded to suck down the WB...
