Ya those are the ones I have been running for a while. They are super strong and give a ton of link/shock clearance. What motor/esc setup are you running now that you gave the violator his setup back? |

Krawlfreak has lost half his hair designing products that fit and work very well out of the package. Holes line up, spacers and hardware are included and pre tapped, just a complete quality kit.

well i have been getting some work done to the mini finally i ended up getting a set of egrressors knucles with the bigger bearing for the LCC mod. while i was playing with the shafts(no pun intended) it looked as if the mrc inner shaft was very similiar in size to the LCC shaft, as far as the ball end where the barrel goes through. this image is of the mrc inner with the LCC stub surprising enough! i used the inner mrc shaft with the Lcc barrel, pin and stub axle. they seem to be working as well as the turned down and cut LCC inners and offer as much, and can be modded slightly more to offer even more, steering. full LCC shaft mrc inner with LCC outer, barrel and pin now i will be testing them so the verdict is still out but if this works well then it will be an easy way to do this mod |

next thing on the list was to move the chassis forward on the links. i made up some new lowers. i also wanted to get some caster back in the front to keep it from pushing and jacking so bad on the rocks. here you can see the amount of caster i was able to achieve with some minor grinding and re-drilling where the c's mount. before after all wrapped up |

The collars are offset, you can flip them around and reduce your caster if you wish. Here is mine,I'm also making a knuckle weight system for this truck. I'm heading to the scrap yard next week in search of materials I'm thinking brass Its a really simple mod for anyone interested.

Thats kick ass I bet it will work fine, The issue for me wasnt the axle,it was the stubs. So now if this works(I'm placing money it does) Guys can easily get stronger cvd's without a machine shop This is some good thinking Hoss

I ran this for awile but there is play between the axle and the stub through the pin and would bind some times, a buddy did this also and broke a traxas yoke. I put manual limiters on the knuckles to stop this, till I got my LCC axles turned down. just food for thought. |

this here thread has some great info & I'm digin these mini juices my experience with the mrc cvd's was about 50/50...I'd broke just as many inners as outers I think Ive been runnin the LCC's since about March/April with no worries and why dont losi just make a LCC cvd to fit the mrc in the first place |

did you have to clearence the skid on the motor side for that brushless motor? I'm putting together my mini BJ and I have a mongoose brushless....I could not get it to sit flat without grinding on the skid some... |

the losi motor is smaller in diameter and longer. The mongoose is bigger so it will be really tight, you might have to clearance it slightly.

Looks good man, so those are losi's alum axle c's right? Did you just have to grind on the axle case and redrill the mounting holes?

That's quite substantial. Do you happen to know how much it's clocked? How many degree's allowing the top and bottom are flat.

How much did you move your chassis forward? I do this on my 2.2's, and like it, but I have just barely enough room for my lipo on the front links as it is in the minijuice. How big is the lipo you run on your rear links? I'm running a 430mAh 3s. I need to move it back to my rears and reweigh to see what difference it makes. |
