well we have finally put a chassis together!

there are a few being tested right now and they will be available soon!

i figured after winning the rojo's rocas event with a borrowed car i might need to build my own for nats

to start, the parts list:
mini beetlejuice proto (with servo/link mounts)
hh mini motor 22 turn
mamba micro
losi aluminum shocks
metal tranny gears
metal lockers
assorted aluminum parts
red rovers
nova single stage foams
little harry's
castle bec
8711 until the 7950 gets here
603ff reciever (4pk)
mip drivelines
hyperion lipo's

probably forgetting something but here are a few pics to get you guys started.

you will notice the 1/4 " clearence at the rear of the skid with the tranny still level

i also made the upper cab portion of the chassis flare out over the rear shocks to act as a slider and to also meet the width requirement.

that's bada$$!!! I really like the looks of the 2.2 v3 beetlejuice...nice to see this for the mini

what's the skid width?

skid width is 2" with side plates, more than i like but it keeps the motor from hanging out to far and on a bodiless rig that might be an advantage.
