| first mini tuber attempt
so ive built some for micros, big deal, they work great but there are no comps around here for them. so i took apart my MRC with leaf springs on a bwd chassis and made this: quick mod list: custom tube chassis (duh) with custom 4 link (asymetrical uppers) raised pinions (kills torque twist) OTA steering linkage with full size servo traxxas revo front diff mod (ive got a 13 for the rear in the works) caster mod (roughly a 3.5' turning diameter) zero ackerman modded non pro knuckles 61t delrin spur 11t ti pinion reedy stump puller motor losi micro springs in 20 wt oil all around (droops about 20%) red dot rover tires this is a short vid of the vehicle and my blatherings.. Andys MRC tuber - YouTube wish i had an angle finder... any guesses? here it is actually climbing it. Andys MRC tuber climbing - YouTube Last edited by elsewhere; 01-04-2012 at 10:32 PM. |

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I am new to the crawling scene and just got myself a mrc pro. I curious what kind of wheels you have on yours and are those weights in the "holes or lack there of" in the wheels.

I got the truck used with the wheels and a bwd chassis. Couldn't tell u what the wheels are.. they are heavy, weighted inside I believe.. I just built the chassis.. Yeah these panels aren't so "armored vehicle".. |

Thanks for getting back to me, I just got this thing and it seems like there's so much you can do to these things, just trying to figure it all out, thanks again.
