What battery are you using? Stock nimh? If so id mount it on the upper 3 link bar. If you're running a small lipo then either would be fine. Its always gonna be a general personal preference along with what works best on your specific setup. I run on the upper link on one mrc, next to the servo on another, and my favorite place is the rear axle. All I run is 800mah 2s lipo so they're small and don't have allot of weight to them. Plus I have my wheels weighted so running on the back isn't an issue.

When I first bought my Losi MRC RTR I moved the NiMh battery to the top of the servo,I attached it with some velcro. It made a big difference in the centre of gravity. I now have a pro and have put a Lipo battery in between the servo and motor instead of on top of the servo. You are better off with it on the servo performance wise,I just didn`t like the look of it on the servo with the pro. It still performs well with it there, just not as good. |

How u put battery between servo and motor? Do you have enough space? I tried to do that, but ends up not enough space. Did you put any mods to make it work? Thanks a lot. | |

I made a plate that bolts to servo mount. and my batt sits behind servo and above upperlinks so the weight is on the front axle. I just run 800 2s batteries
