| Crunch's BWD LP2.0 Build
Don recently invited me to become a team driver, and I'm very excited to be joining team BWD. I have been using BWD products for years and have always been impressed with the superior quality and performance of his products. I received my new chassis plates to convert my Mini Wedge to the new LP2.0. Conversion starts today. Stay tuned! |

The LP2.0 is tiny, eh Crunchy? Just wait till you and Papa have some titanium to replace those lowers! |

Just as a heads-up to anyone reading this thread - progress may seem slow at times, but I am a full time student and work in the evenings as well. But when I do have free time, I am working on the rig. |

Just ordered a set of Losi Mini Late Model shocks, since the ones from the Mini Wedge were too long. Build will be on standby until they come in... |

Any idea where to get a beetle body for the MRC? I want one SOOOO bad. Only one I found so far was like $50.

They haven't been made for a while so you'd be very lucky to find one... It's definitely the best looking body for MRC's... Truck is looking good Crunch that new chassis looks really nice | |

Got a great package from Don today with a cab, and some bent titanium lowers and some titanium uppers! And to top it all off my shocks came in today also! Photos coming as soon as Photobucket is back online.

Don's care package.... And the shocks... Size comparison between the old and new shocks... Went and modded the shocks as well, the final is sitting next the the original, then steps are shown to show how to do the mod as well... |

Modded the battery tray, so I would be able to lower it on the chassis... Dremelled the bottom of the tray so the drive shaft would not rub... Also did a little rearranging to the electronics to save space and weight... |

Truck is together, and running! Will Post pics after work tonight! On a note about the shocks... The ball end that comes on them is very weak, and I had one break on the first test drive. I replaced all four of them with the ones off of the stock shocks. They are much thicker, so if you plan on doing the shock mod I would highly recommend doing this while your shocks are still apart!
