YES!!!  people who crawl in MAINE!!! Too bad its the day of my sons birthday party. Ide be there if it wasn't for that. Anyone close to Waldoboro ? Like to hang with some fellow crawlers. |

Went and crawled Bradbury Mtn. today for a test run, let me sum it up as great! For those who want more details, the main trail we'll be hitting is only 3/10 of a mile bottom to top with a great view on top. The trail is listed as intermediate for hiking but if you're used to chasing a crawler around you'll be fine, not like we're jogging up there ;) I would think any rig will do fine, all of the nasty spots have by-passes also. The state park charges $3.00 per Maine resident and $4.50 per non resident, they are in no way sponsoring this get together so everyone is expected to pay thier way in, this money goes to helping the state maintain all the great parks we have. There is a little country store just down the road with a few snacks but not much else, so bring what you want. When you enter the park take the left turn after the pay booth, there is a large dirt parking area down there, that's where I plan to be to meet up with everyone. I don't have an exact count, but about a dozen guys on here have said they're comming and 47 of my 50 fliers at Ray and Robbins Hobby Shop have been taken so I hope thats a good sign. I wish I was free friday, I'd join you, its only 10 miles from my house. I crawled there yesterday, had fun as always but I'm bringing bug spray next time. Think i'll be going again sunday morning...

Well I just heard that Boston Crawlers has an event on the same day so they won't be able to come up but I still think that we'll have a good group of rigs. I hope to see the rest of you all on the first.

I thought this event should be on the calendar page of this forum, but it's not. I was going to try to post it there to help get the word out, but I don't seem to have the privelage to add it there. I guess its because I'm new to the forum, and not really active on here.

I'll be there when the park opens at 9, I put 10 on the fliers to leave drive time for people in the morning. I'm packing a lunch and planning to hang around as long as anyone else is around but there is no official end to the day...
