Toward the end of the month would be the soonest I could do it. Still getting parts for the scoobie. The father away from me the later I would need the meet to be. When you decide let me know. Still having steering issues with my ford. Damn steering horns are a p.i.t.a.

We have a date September 21.
Now a place.
If I pick a place it will be down south there's a place I'd like to try in Sanford.
My group is willing to travel. Up to and hour north of Portland.
So some one please find us a place to play up north.

I understand if Cadillac is to far up the coast. However it would be nice if we could have a run slightly further up the coast than what you guys have been doing. Portland is just to far for me to drive. If anyone is going from the Ellsworth - Bangor area I would be up for carpooling and splitting fuel.

Cadillac:

That's one hell of a nice playground you have up there.
I've lived in Maine my hole life and never been to Cadillac mountain.
I don't now if can make it up there. But if you get a lot of people up there i will have to go.

Sorry, Sam too far. Maybe we can do it in the spring as the season opener and get some people up there.

The last time I talked to countryhandyman we talk about a place in Brunwick.
If he's willing to take us there?

Also, Yotawheeler in NH would like to do a run in Ossipee off rt16.

My spot is actually in Bath, its more scenic drive with mixed terrain than "rock crawling" there is parking for 6-8 cars, and its a fairly long rc drive along the Kennebec river. I'd be happy to take a group out there, but plan on extra batterys, drinks, bug spray etc. Let me know...

I'd hit Birch Point, used to crawl there a lot when I lived in Rockland, best at low tide.

Mount Waldo in Winterport would be central to most of the state, its pure rock quarry, not much "trail driving" 2 hours north for me, probably 2 hours south for Nigel... just a thought for later
