RCE in fitchburg rebuilds motors for $10 , cuts the comm , cleans it up, oils the bearings , and installs new brushes. When i meet up with you guys i could take the motor with me since i race there every sunday, but on the other hand a brandy new one is around $20.

spare parts are definetly cool!!! Aychdee, i'm curious to see how the rear dig works out that is on my list of to do's before spring and i also have the jr xr3i radio , i currently have my 2 channel futaba am radio in the crawler . I'm actually gonna hook everthing up tonight to the jr , ECS , Reciever, servos and battery , on my work table tonight to see how the 3rd channel works on that radio. I've always used it as a 2 channel on my racing stuff but i picked up a futaba 3pks with the fasst system for my racing stuff so the JR is just collecting dust . Also what are you guys running for shocks ?? |

The shocks do work great but the leaking is getting to me lol, i just ordered a set of traxxas big bores a few minutes ago. It looks like the JR is gonna be a great radio to use with a DIG setup , i have everything setup on my table and just had it working, it looks like i will beable work the DIG off button c with my thumb. Now i just need to build a dig set up!! |

R2 didn't arrive today, Definitely tomm. or else!! I am currently using the Hot Bodies Aluminum threaded body 4"ers w/ internal spring/ conventional setup and they are awesome! They limited the articulation just enough to make them work awesome w/ 60wt silicone oil in 'em. No leaks and they don't puke the caps off evry 5 feet, Which for me means the truck doesn't need to be waterproofed....(Cee and NEK know what I mean)

Well, because I have such great haunting skills I was able to bum some money from my mother until I get paid and I picked up quite a few things. Took a ride to Hobby Etc. in Nashua, got rooster crawler esc, 55t lathe, motor leads, revo ends, and 24t and 32t pinions to do some experimenting. I just got home, and now I don`t even feel like working on the thing | |

I'm hoping the JR3 (not the i) will work great, it should. For shocks, I'm running the Hot bodies aluminum threade bodies w/ the conventional set up (spring in shock, on top of piston) They are freakin' great, They slightly limited flex the perfect amount, the caps don't come popping off like jiffy pop on a hot oven, and best of all - I don't have to waterproof my rig because the caps keep popping off my truck every 10 feet (Cee, Ben, you know what I mean....if you don't, read my sig) On a different not, I completely forgot my buddy has a ax10. He just built a scale rti ramp, so I told him he should tag along on Sat-terd-days w/ us. |

Forgot to mention this. On my way back from Hobby Etc, I swung through to RCCarStore to grab the stuff I forgot, and when I was in there, I was talking to one of the guys about where we go, and he said Cee mentioned he saw me down there or something, then he mentioned that there was a place behind the skate park in Salem, and places in Lynn Woods. I say the next chance I get I`ll go scouting in Lynn Woods, or maybe we should just meet up when the weathers better and head in look around?
