|  SMT 10 3800 kv gearing question
i have a smt10 with a castle mamba max pro esc and a 3800kv castle motor. what spur and pinion gearing combo would yall recommend for decent speed and torque. ill be running 2s mostly butwould also like to know gearing for 3s

I'm running the stock 11T pinion and 56T spur gear on a 3900kV motor. I'm very happy with it. It's fast enough to be fun on 2S and feels like scale speed and torque to me. On 3S it flies and does wheelies. Plus, the motor and ESC never get hot. I'd try stock gearing before you change your gears. |
