Any thoughts on Ultra4 racing anyone? Or just run 2.2's in scale class with everyone else..... OR.....If 2.2 pro class is dead, make up our own full bodied comp class and rules using Ultra4 wraith sized rigs.

thoughts......

I have a short course track. If you guys can help a bit with keeping it maintained you can run ultra4/KOH races at my house.

I'd love to do Ultra 4, I have this damn Yeti that is ready for some fun I know 2.2 Pro is dead for most people, but not for me and a few others. Building a brand new Berg as we type I plan on bringing 2.2 Pro and Sporty back. Especially since scale classes seem to be taken care of now!!!! I think this two club thing is gonna be awesome. Time to get together and make it work for everybody!!!

I'm heading to Florida April 17th, but when I get back I would like both clubs to be able to meet up and coordinate our schedules to work to all of our advantage. Spread the load so no one gets burned out on running events.

Farmer

My idea for the ultra4 is to not have to build or have to maintain a course , use some place like Davisburg where it is pretty open and has most of the rocks and grass areas to set up stuff you want. Set it up at Davisburg every few weeks and see how it works out to gauge how popular it will be.

It will be interesting to see what happens this summer with most of the scale events bringing 20 to 30 people towards the end last season.

Sounds good to me, would Mill Creek Pond work for another location? Although I'm sure I would end up in the river

You mean Mill Race park in Commerce? That would be a real cool spot for a night time G6, so someone and their truck could end up in the river. We will have to see how it goes, there are a lot of scale guys on FB that don't even see this site on a regular basis, it would be cool to get everyone together.

Meh...start everyone in G6 format. make 2.2 battle through the 1.9 rigs. this is what makes it fun.

Well it's finally getting warm

I'm going to be out in the backyard this weekend on Sunday April 12th doing so clean up and maintenance to get ready for the season. I know there's a comp on Saturday so if your not able or up for coming on Sunday it's cool. Let's say after 10am. Let me know if you can make it I'll get some food together for those who do

If your coming bring a rig so we can have some fun too

Thanks guys!
Lee
