PS - back in the day MGCrawler made a AWESOME 1:20 CJ7 CJ7 (Jeep build off) DONE! - Scale 4x4 R/C Forums I happened to stumble across TWO of those CJ's and see that these axles will fit perfectly. I might get lucky and find that Sam's D90 fits this Jeep..... I smell another project brewing. Damn, I haven't built a truck since I got into racing quads last year. Feels good to be back! |

This way is easier. Now I just need to disassemble and thread lock everything. With all that said, I don't think anyone will have any problems with the assembly. It doesn't have any of the tiny screws and unthreaded holes that the smaller 1/24 version did. The only thing that has given me problems so far are the set screws for the drive shaft. They strip really easy. Put on some locktight and don't over torque. Last edited by TheBakedBeans; 04-22-2015 at 08:20 PM. | |

Yeah the quality is really amazing, i painted all the brass black and did a few mockup bodys, decided to go with the yota, but the newbrite ford also fits it really nice. |

Hi Mike - can you confirm that that's a D90 chassis and which scale the New Bright F-150 is as it looks to be a 1/24?! Cheers! |

When you get around to it Mike you should start a build thread for that 'yota. I love those bodies, and would like to see where you go with yours.

Hi everyone, I just stumbled over some video footage of my two micro rigs I've build on the chassis shown in this thread. It shows the Mercedes G55 and the Land Rover D90 on Sams 1/18 CNC chassis out in the woods at a nice sunny morning. Loaded them on yt for you guys - if you like, you'll find them here: https://youtu.be/-HzIMyrg3PQ https://youtu.be/9EZXlezgGxw Have fun Cheers Tom |
