| My rusty Orlandoo Jeep
I used a metal 1:32 diecast Jeep body. Stripped away most of the paint and used the steel wool method of applying rust. Afterwards I hit it with a coat of Rust-Oleumar clear coat. Lost DT Tire mod combined with the Orlandoo metal shocks made it much more capable. Pictures don't do the rust justice. How awesome! I just started building my orlandoo jeep. I also want to use a 1/32 die-cast body, can you show me how you mounted the body? Thanks!

I ground the rear of the frame down just a few millimeters and attached the bumpers using 4 screws. (See picture two) The front of the fame was not modified but the bumper was attached the same way. In picture two you can see the area in the middle of the rear bumper that has been cut out. That is the first holding point for the body to attach to the frame. (See picture three) The front uses a small high strength magnet I purchased off ebay. I super glued this inside the front bumper. (See picture four) Lastly the front screw of the body fits down a tube which was part of the front bumper. (See picture five) The screw sticks to the magnet and the body is mounted. This also makes removing the body and changing batteries a breeze. If you need more pictures or me to go into more detail let me know. Sent from my SHIELD Tablet K1 using Tapatalk | |

My shocks just came in today. You're right. They're super smooth. It's crazy how tiny they are!
