Hi Crash, A lot more feedback on the facebook group eh? ;) I have made a vacuum molding puck for the hood. Still a little more work to do, cut away the outside part and sand the tiny ridges from the step over on the cnc machine.       |

I have polished this chassis using flat black paint and 400 grit sand paper, three cycles. I think it's as good as I am willing to make it. Really just about 6 hours total. I was thinking about chroming it, but now I'm thinking just leave it as is. As you can see the vacuum formed hood is fitted, and the body wrap is mounted too. Last is the hood mold and I have been experimenting with finding the best tool path to provide the best results. By careful planning I can minimize sanding and make a part that fits the best. Hi everyone! I finally got the roof mold cut out and should have body panel action in about a week. Yeehaw... o.o Thaaaanks fuh waaatchin!!!    |
