Default Looking for recommendations

I'm looking for a micro crawler for some indoor fun. I have a few requirements, though:
  • Availability for parts (I'm in Canada)
  • Must be able to slow crawl (I don't like twitchy driving)
  • Scale truck preferred (jeep/defender body would be perfect).

The RC4WD Gelande 2 1/18 with the v2 tranny seems to be a good option, but it's quite expensive and people either love or hate them. I can get them locally and parts shouldn't be an issue, since rc4wd is a pretty well known company.

The barrage is also available here and it's cheaper, but I question the crawling performance and parts availability.

The Carisma coyote pup has caught my attention, but they aren't easily available in Canada and parts are probably not going to be easy, fast or cheap for me to bring in.

I've seen the D1RC Jeep and CR-24 mentioned, but the D1RC doesn't ship to Canada and the CR-24 doesn't seem to have parts available anywhere.

A friend said the Proline Ambush was a really good rig, but those aren't available anymore (and parts apparently never were).

Any other suggestions?

The Hobby Plus CR-24 and D1RC were recently released so parts haven't yet, though should show up like they did for the Barrage/RGT/FTX.

They do look like very nice rigs, but unless parts are available in Canada, I'd be paying for shipping and waiting 2 - 6 weeks for parts to come in from overseas. This would be a deal-breaker.
