3 wheel drive SCX24- Lost axle pin

Hello, while tinkering on my tiny Toyota I lost one of the axle pins that locks the hex to the axle. Besides ordering a new complete rear axle for $20, does anybody know the size of the pins? Maybe I can source new ones online? Also, anybody know the size of the axle nuts? Looking for some replacement parts to keep on hand. Thank you this site has helped tremendously in building a killer little rig.

I forget the size of the axle nut, but the thread is the same as the Losi micro crawler and Trail Trekker if that helps your searches. It still might be in the sticky post in the Losi micro area.
As far as the wheel hex pin the cheapest and quickest options are to cut down piano wire from a Hobby store or hardware store, old drill bits, or even the thicker paperclips.

I've made pins from those bigger clamp style paper clips tons of times while working on photocopiers. If you have any around the house, check to see if any are the same diameter as the pin for another wheel. Just tape the end (so it doesn't fly away and it's easier to find if it does) and clip it off to the proper length with side cutters.

And drill bits are also a great source strong steel for making pins and the like..

These pins tend to be free to move around so I've be using some CA to glue them in place to keep them centered, they have still popped loose over time so its probably a good idea to check these from time to time.

Thanks for the tips, i feel like a numbskull for not figuring it out myself. Used a tiny drill bit and wire cutters came out perfect. Used the tape trick and an empty box to not lose the piece. She's back to double locked 4 wheel drive.
