Makes sense to have a dedicated area. My back yard was built when I was into 1/10 scale crawling, so I have 9 tons of busted concrete holding back terraces... I caved and ordered one today. Already ordered the two pack of Fly batts as well. I've been watching your youtube vids. Next pay check I'll be getting better tires and some other fun stuff. The hobby shop in my office building has a bunch of aftermarket parts coming in. |

I put the Barrage motor back in the Deadbolt. I had taken it out and replaced it with the stock motor troubleshooting and issue with it being really slow. During the troubleshooting process I even put the RC4WD FF-050 back in. All were acting equally slow to the point of stalling and not climbing worth a darn. I was ready to replace the esc when I checked the TX and found it was in the low rate. Not sure how that happened I always run in high. To test out the Barrage motor I took the Deadbolt and the C10, playing a little follow the leader. Both are setup fairly similar, the Jeep is pretty stock still. I could tell the difference right off the bat. The Deadbolt was much more controllable with much better low end. Probably won't swap the motors out in the C10 or Jeep until the stock motor goes south. |
