Default Blown motor?

I have been using a 2S on my Enduro24 trailrunner and saw my motor was having issues yesterday. It had erratic performance and then seemingly died. I futzed around with the motor contacts and see that I can get it to turn when wiggling/moving the negative terminal sometimes. I’m going to assume that trying to get it to run on the grass too much in 32+ degreee weather as the culprit.

Or should I be thinking the combo or heat and 2S did it? I hooked up another 050 from another crawler and it runs fine when connected to my trailrunner a ESC. Just trying to validate that my ESC is not blown.

Any thoughts on my assumption?
