That diamond plate looks great and in scale. I was only able to find 1/10 scale, claimed 1/18 but not. Where did you get that scale diamond plate?

It’s a styrene sheet for scale modeling. 1/24th

Thank you… I’ve been doing silly stuff like this since I was a kid. Funny to see others enjoy it too!

The highlift is from Tiny4x4.com, they have a lot of good stuff. Don will take good care of you. This is the 1/18th scale. At first, I thought it looked too big. But after looking at some photos online, I see that most of the high lift jacks come up level with the top of the windshield.

I’m still working on the build video (actually trying to finish the Kuro King video first) but here is a peek at a few details I added last night. I just need to reapply some decals and this build will be totally complete.

Gracias Amigo... my first time at trying to model some foam. Slowly gathering supplies to try a mini course (probably orlandoo size) but will also make a few obstacles/stands for the 1/24 and 1/18 size as practice.

I'll probably keep adding to this one for now. Maybe some tumble weeds/grassy tuffs. Maybe a little rock rubble... it's fun to mess around with.

Still trying to get the Kuro King build notes/video done. Couldn't help myself... made a quick run video of the FJ, enjoy!

Excellent work Sir! You made it absolutely stunning to look at AND perform really good also. I’m out of words. Can’t believe you done all that and at this scale.

Thank you, thank you! It really was a fun kit to build and customize. It was NOT fun figuring out those damn axles. But man… I’m glad I did. They look fabulous! I am very pleased with the performance. I didn’t expect it to do so well.

This thing is amazingly cool. I know it would be more boring, but i would like to se one on a stock scx24 chassis.

Thanks Ross

Thank you! I’ve got one in the works. Another SCX24 chassis with some portals. I plan on cutting off the front fenders, adding some more diamond plating, and giving it some weathering.
