LGRP Came in

I thought I'd hold off the Swamp Kings and save them for when the other wheels arrive to be used along with the Pine Tree inserts. Tried out the Trench Kings on the steelies with the stock foams.

The bigger diameter made the body look even worse than before, so something had to be done, got the scissors out and we kissed bye bye to the front lights and added spacers and longer screws to the hinge for now

Some more trimming will be needed but just driving it around the house its more capable tackling blunt objects, looking forward to getting it out.

Mofo Order #2

Lots of goodies in there including the UPW wheels and +6 brass hex's, but I could finally start to combine stuff and fit it. My Emax servo has been great really, but since fitting the 64's it has begun to struggle when bound up in a tough spot a little more than I'd have liked. So we gathered together the Mofo BSME, Injora brass steering links and the CCxRC Mighty Eagle.

Before the stretch I had it on the scales and managed to get it to 60/40 so didnt want to veer off what I had too much. The Emax servo had 15g additional weight stuck to it so I wasn't sure how much I'd need to add to the new setup to keep the ying and yang chill

emax

So we had a base weight, and we need to add.....

None!

Performance seems more lively

Next combo up, wheels

I have really enjoyed the Trench Kings on the stock foams. Easily the most capable setup run to date. Couldn't just have these hanging around though, so built them up to try, Just running the stock rings for now. With the brass hexes fitted its added close to 80g to the rig, up from 480 to 553g and 1 or 2mm extra offset compared to the flipped steelies.

May try the Trench Kings with the Pine Trees on these rims just to see what the differences are.
