Redcat did not disappoint. Outta box it's great. With some heavier wheels and better tires it's awesome. But the lexan body doesn't cut it. I'm the hard body all the way. All modded now. Trx4m links. Rear extended (Trx4m links longer then redcat). About 8mm, I forgot. Front bottom link fits upper is too long, fabricated my own. Relocated upper shock mounds for better flex. Electronics relocated, keeping weight centered. Weighted wheels, fronts havier. Servo corrners clipped. Driveshaft for scx24 won't work, redcat has their own much larger size. More tech. The easiest build or all and the cheapest. Right now it performs almost as good (lucky me) as the meus ripper I got. Removed everything from the rear. Relocated electronics to the front, battery mounted vertical. I like weight centered on mine. Trx4m links. Rear will bolt right on extending back by about 10mm. Font requires shorter upper(custom now) and about 2mm longer at the bottom. Upper shock mounts extended to allow for more articulation of the axles. I used some parts for trx4m for extensions but servo horns would be better. Servo and servo mount clipped at the top for clearance. Heavy wheels inserts, front heavier. FMS hard body. S5 tires. Injora 48t motor. 69.5° climbing angle. It's the RedcAT now. Body fits perfect over the sliders. Jeep Gladiator utility rack completes the look. Some recovery equipment in the last shot. Easy to make and very effective. Now onto some bodywork... up. Sent from my LG-V521 using Tapatalk Last edited by Ynad; 03-29-2024 at 01:11 PM. |

One thing about the 3rd channel I do not understand, though. It works the servo just fine. But the light switch doesn't function. Does anyone know how to make it work? Sent from my LG-V521 using Tapatalk |

Something like this is what you will need to make the third channel operate your lights. https://www.amazon.com/Remote-Contro...%2C1940&sr=8-3 Rig looks great btw! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Lil' rig looks good Ynad! A lot of good stuff here. Nice to know that the TRX4m links do work even though they are longer. My only problem with this rig is the rock grabber front portal chubs. I may have to go up in tire size to help with this. Power Wagon looks great on there. Looks to fit perfectly! |

I have exactly that switch and others. They do not work. That's what I'm trying to figure out. Sent from my LG-V521 using Tapatalk

Prop-shaft is their own size and shape of the flange yoke connection nothing else would fit. I didn't experience problems with clearance on the rocks, 62mm front 64mm rear. The servo mount flexes though. But the servo is the beast. Sent from my LG-V521 using Tapatalk
