Starting a new 2.2 rig, I figured was time for a update. Nothing but a scramble of brake line and pile of parts at this time. I'm going with the 2.2Hammer tires, Eritex heavys, axial dig unit, same old proven stuff. Ordering, waiting and brazing.

Clod, still full of electronics issues from last year. Servos have a mind of their own at times, front motor won't start before the back.

Thats correct John, but 2ws doesn't limit these trucks as much as you might think. If you are having steering issues, we can look over your setup and give you a few pointers to help.

You have to take it off for comp use, the axial kit included rear steer lock outs.

Yup, dig is legal

I will be running dig on my TLT, but not on my Axial. At least not to start with, I could see my self with the rc4wd unit in the future.

For an AX10 tranny, you have 2 choices, the VF dig, and the RC4WD dig. Both bolt directly on to the AX10 tranny. Neither are out just yet, the VF is supposed to start shipping this week, and I don't know about the RC4WD expected shipping dates.

I haven't tried either yet. I should be getting my VF dig this weekend though, so I'll know more about that One soon enough. The RC4WD is cheaper, and looks to be a good unit. I'm going to get both, and run One in each AX10.

Rough day yesterday on my rigs.
Broke a stud holding on a link on the front of my F-250 scaler, welded a new one on today
Burn't out the servo on the new VF dig, pulled the dig apart to check everything, and made a new mount to use a full size servo instead of that mini crap. The Hi-lift had the drive shaft come apart, that will be fixed when I get home tonight, along with getting the VF dig to work smoothly for me. I also have to rebuild the front axle on my Super. Plenty to do this week to get ready for the comp Sunday.

You got it lucky.. I have no idea how I am going to fix my Juggernaut with the broken axle case yet. I know I can order a case, but I am really thinking about fabbing some axle C's for it. But I am sure in order for that to work out, I will need to make a welding jig.

I am ready for the opener. Let it be known I have NO DIG in either rig...until the VF's arrive. Pick your poison boys, Axial Comp rig 1(mostly stock) or Axial FatDog tuber? The new sheriff is Green.

Ryan

As my back up for these 2 I will run anyone head to head with my Axial Warpig scaler...

I was just writing all the Comp dates down in my calendar and noticed that May 11th is Mothers day. I'm not sure I will make it that day. What's everyone elses take on this?

It was voted on to hold it that weekend anyways, a few months ago when we held our meeting. I believe everyone said its not a problem for them?
