Yeah the yeti can take some violent tumbles. I don't think a wraith can recreate them.

That must be true fracture, you hardly ever see snapped axles on a Wraith and it's common on Yetis.

That's just because you haven't seen Phil drive his 10lb monster at full speed yet

I didn't get to ordering a d-lux housing with the larger pinion bearings. The rear pinion bearing were shot. not falling apart bad, but very sloppy, so it got a new pair, and standard HD gears.

I somehow missed this post. Were you amazed by the wear you found when you opened the diffs? I think your diff experiment will be very positive I can't wait to hear what you find.

The short course track I went to that day, I only ran one lap with the Yeti, I was having too much fun with my 66 F100 bodied 2wd VXL Slash, and swapped back to running it after that one lap with the yeti, so I don't have any results for my experiment yet.

I agree... come to think of it... I never really did back flips off of trees and what not with my wraiths before. *lol*

I am going to check out my old LHS where I am back here in ABQ for a few days. When I left they were carrying a full line of VP parts, and I got a great friends and family discount. Going to see if they have a VP rear axle I can pick up and not worry about snapping another one for a while.

Yeah not a big deal already have the vp Bell crank on order. now I have a reason to have ordered it. Really like my vp axle levels out the weight.

I finally bought a good charger with a screen. once it gets here I'll be able to check the cell levels to see how out of balance ask these packs are from my garbage charger and hopefully be able to revive them.

Your batteries will love you. I can't imagine not balancing the start of every charge. It's going to keep your lipos fresh much longer.
