It's the same format they ran at Crawlapalloza too. If the courses are all pre-ran then there shouldn't be too many of those instances. Plus with 3 or more courses there should be plenty of running.

If people who weren't elidgible wanted to do it I people could vote on it. You just couldn't figure out exactly where everyone stacked up equally (ranking wise).

Really doesn't matter to me as long as the elidgible drivers run the same. The 20pt carry is an option rule, no 20pt carry is the official standard rule.

I say no carry rule. that is how it is at Nats & since this is a Nats qualifier

this sounds great. my only question is, why not do it on June 27th. the last saturday in june. because this is a national qualification event i want to attend, but if you guys do decide to have the event on June 20th, i wont be there because of the Honor Flight crawl.

Only reason I suggested it was because we have to have it in before the end of June I believe and if the weather doesn't cooperate the first weekend it would be nice to have a back-up. I would hate to get rained out and be screwed out of our invites or have to play tiddlywinks for it

I just wanted to get the discussion started. Jerry, John, and Cory need to make the call for each group (after discussing, with them I would assume).

I really don't understand all the rules bargaining and modifying, it only hurts the drivers in the end. The rules are there for a reason, why not follow them?

So are we set on the 20th?

The 20pt Carry rule is in the rules but it is written as an optional rule. The big events don't run it.

If the 20th is out, then it leaves the first weekend of the month and the last.

June 6th
June 13th
June 20th
June 27th

There are two events on the 13-14th weekend so I am assuming it is out since it would involve KC and STL. I know there is the Freedom flight event on the 20th as well but the interest hasn't been shown in that particular thread. The 6th and 27th don't show anything yet.

I just have the concern of getting rained out if we do the 27th.

Why not on a sunday? Like say the 21st.

Still gives the 27th 28th for rain dates.

KCRC and CMRCRC usually comp on Saturday's so those are the dates I posted. I knew 2 out of 3 so I rolled with it

I am good with the 20th or the 27th...Plus it gives me some more time to get my rig together than the 6th would,But regardless of the date chosen,I should be able to make it regardless.Like I said before,I can come and help set up courses and help out with anything else too since I ain't no where close to going to nationals..

is this a missouri comp for everybody? or just a "real" comp for the recognised guys and a play day / gtg for the rest?

From my understanding they are gonna vote on if just anyone can come and compete(no word on it yet).But they won't be eligible for the national invites unless they are from the top 5 from each Missouri Club..I am sure Harley will post more about this at a later time.

I think everyone has agreed that it would be cool for everyone to come compete (sanctioned or not). However unless you were one of the top 5 from one of the three sanctioned clubs than you are not elidgible for an invite.

Lets say we need a final vote frome each club by this weekend so that we can give a minimum 2 week notice (which is short notice). Get with you club and post up by Sunda night. Majority rule, soun like a deal?

June 6th
June 20th
June 27th
